Robert brings expertise in consumer and securities litigation to KCC. As a Director of Class Action Services he is responsible for the strategy and implementation of initiatives that foster Class Action client relationships and ensure they receive professional level service.
As a former class action attorney in Chicago, Robert successfully represented plaintiffs in securities class actions, including the In re DVI Securities Litigation, with his in-depth experience in 10b-5 and 20(a) cases, as well as large-scale merger challenges. He also litigated and argued a wide array of class action cases at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court.
Robert received a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration degree from Indiana University where he served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Indiana Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in History and Criminal Justice where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and ran varsity track and cross country. He currently serves in various roles on the Chicago Bar Association's (CBA) Class Litigation Committee where he provides monthly updates on recent class action court decisions in the Committee's monthly newsletter.
